Pictonian Farm is a Standardbred breeding facility providing a place for turn outs and conditioning of young race horses. Owned and operated by Tony & Gerda Zuethoff with assistance
of employee Ann van den Broek.

The modern facility was built in 2002 and features large 12x12 stalls, a year round indoor exerciser, and is surrounded by many fenced pastures.

We are very happy with the purchase of Electric Stena to start his breeding carreer in 2011 in the Maritimes after being very succesfull in Quebec

It is home for the stallion WESTERN PARADISE and a small band of high quality broodmares.

We also offer many other services including:

Foaling out of broodmares
Breeding to any North American stallion
Veterinary services with ultrasound & x-ray
Boarding long and short term (turn outs)
Individualized conditioning on indoor exerciser (year round)

Pictonian Farm is located on the edge of the historic town of Pictou, Nova Scotia and is only minutes from the Ferry service to PEI.
